Internationally recognised as an icon of Brutalist architecture, loved and loathed in equal measure, Park Hill sits in 32 acres of green space overlooking Sheffield city centre. We were commissioned to design a public art installation and bespoke typeface to accompany the ongoing development of the site.
Park Hill Installation

Inspired by an observation of the accidental typographic forms created by the estate, we designed two interchangeable font styles. Park Hill Regular reflects the character of the site’s architectural footprint, while Park Hill Hardcore explores individual features such as the elevated footbridges. The typeface is free to download from parkhilltype.com ↗
